"The family LOVES Big Creek Boarding! We have a dog who we rescued from an abusive family. She was extremely timid of people and other dogs for so long, we wondered if her playful personality would ever shine. She was scared of everything, especially water...until we took her to Big Creek. Bonnie is so amazing with all of the dogs she boards, after we boarded Kokomo with her, we found our shy little dog was totally transformed! We now take Kokomo to Big Creek just because we know she loves it so much, she's become the queen of the wading pools and the Goodwill Ambassador for all of the other dogs! We love Big Creek Boarding because it's cozy and has a lived-in feel, not like most other sterile, commercial boarders. "I recently moved to Groveland in order to better run a guide service in Yosemite. I had no idea who to contact about boarding my golden mix, Yogi; but I was told about Bonnie and Big creek Boarding and I gave her a call. Bonnie was quick to get back to me and VERY helpful. She told me about her below average rates, and upon visiting her location I was impressed by her above quality facility. Big Creek Boarding only takes 5-6 well-behaved dogs at a time. The dogs all get outside time daily at no extra cost. The outside area is large and offers many retreats and places for exploration and play. But most of all it is all about Bonnie! She cares for the dogs like they are her own, and this is special! On another note, Bonnie is extremely accommodating and flexible. She also doesn't let cost be an issue. After a two week visit with bonnie; I was pleasantly surprised that she cut my bill by almost 25 percent from her already low costs. Bottom line, Big Creek Boarding and Bonnie offer a great "home away from home" (or better yet "summer cam" - October 15, 2011
